Facebook in breach of local laws, says Australian rights watchdog

Facebook is facing the wrath of Australia's human rights watchdog over its refusal to remove a page racially stereotyping Aboriginals as drunks and thieves.
Race Discrimination Commissioner Helen Szoke late yesterday urged Facebook to remove the page and repeated warnings that it may breach race discrimination laws. The social networking company yesterday said it was in "constructive dialogue" with Dr Szoke.
