Wireless the leading connection for net-loving Aussies

Australia's love affair with wireless broadband services is showing no sign of a slowdown, according to census data and new statistics from the competition regulator that show mobile internet devices are now the most common form of broadband connection in the nation.
According to the competition regulator's 2010-11 Telecommunications Report, which was tabled in parliament yesterday, internet subscribers grew 14.8 per cent to 10.9 million at the end of June 2011 as consumers continued to flock to mobile services.
